Halloween!

Oh how I love Halloween!  Its so much fun!  We did so many fun Halloween crafts all month and I feel like almost every lunch was Halloween themed: Jack o lantern quesadillas, ghost shaped sandwiches, etc. It made it so much fun.  I usually start thinking about costumes in august/September and take forever to make whatever costume the kids have decided on so that it "just right"  But this year turned out to be so easy and so cheap!  Makella wanted to be a black cat and all it took was about 20 minutes of sewing together a couple of things I got at DI and she had the perfect cat suit, then Grandma got a couple of accessories and she was done.  I also found a perfect army man outfit at DI for Noah and he was done. (He actually got 2 different army men costumes, thank you grandma Nena!)  They loved waring the face makeup too.  Oh, and little Asher was of course, a duck! He was so stinkin cute!  We went to the Ward Trunk-or_treat on the Saturday before Halloween and then did our traditional dinner and trick-or-treating at Aaron and Kelly's.  It was so warm this year and there were so many people out which made it so much fun and the kids got to do tons of trick or treating which of course meant lots of candy for  me them.  At every door we went to, Noah would say, "Trick or treat....I want chocolate!"  Probably not the most polite boy, but he knows what he likes :)  Happy Halloween!!

I didnt get a really got picture but this is Kayleigh, she and her little friend were Thing 1 and Thing 2. Seriously the cutest costumes!

                                Yes Sir!

Apparently this is how army men fight
