Trips. Easter, and being sick!

Its been awhile since Ive posted and Ive got a lot of catching up to do! I went to visit my family in Washington this month for almost a week and a half. We had such a good time just hanging out up there. I always enjoy being able to get out of Utah for awhile! WHile I was there, I was able to find out what everyone has been talking about! I caught up on all the Twilight books! I couldnt really put them down so I read them all pretty fast. Its really easy for me to get into almost anything I read, so I really like them. Plus, it was fun to read them in Washington because its the setting of the book, so I could picture it a lot more. So Im glad I got to read them!

We went to go see some baby lambs and calf and lots of other animals. Makella Loved it! She would point to every animal and do whatever animal sound she needed. She felt the need to Yell "bah" to all the sheep. It was really fun for her and i liked seeing all the babies animals!

We also went to a neat park to go feed some ducks and geese. It was pretty cold that day, but fun anyways. Then Makella and Danika played on the swings and stuff for a little bit.

Makella and Grandma at the pond!

Ben did Makella and Danikas hair. It looks fabulous! Makella liked playing with Danika and its fun that they are only 4 months apart!

This is the fort me and Lacy built for them to play in. They had a great time running in and out of it!

A few days after we got there, Makella got pretty sick. I felt so bad for her! She had 101 fever for a while and was pretty sick for a couple days. She had a cough, a fever and a bad runny nose. She was pretty much miserable and I just had to take some pictures of how sad she looked!

Ella finally got better and the day before I left, we had a little easter celebration. We decorated eggs and had an easter egg hunt for the kids. Matt and Mandy came over and we dinner and a party for Leah's birthday! It was a fun day!

This is Makella's idea of dying eggs! Maybe next year....!

I had a great time in Washington, but I had to come home! I got home on Easter morning and I was sooo sick all day! (Thanks Ella!) So Easter wasnt so great, but I did make a basket for Makella and for Jonny. I got a basket from Jonny too, so its was good! Jon helped me a lot to by letting me rest for a lot of the day! This is about the only picture I got though.

It was sad to have to get back into everyday life, and Ive been pretty busy since I got home, but I definetaly got a little rejuvenation while I was gone. It was great! So Im sorry Its been so long in between posts, Ill try to be better!

Pretty as a picture!

A while ago I got this cute little bench from my friend, but it was blue and had winnie the pooh stuff on it, so I decided I would redo it and make it a bit more girly for makella. There are still acouple of improvments to make on it, but for the most part it is done. I think it turned out pretty good! Makella loves it! So I just had to take some pictures of her with it. The hat she is wearing was one I got at target for a dollar. Whenever we go to stores, we always try on hats, I dont know why, we just do. So I tried this one on her and she loved it! She got really mad when I took it off and she went through the whole store with it on saying "hat" the whole time. Its pretty cute!

My Birthday Girl!

My sweet baby is turning one! I cant believe it has been a year already. We had a birthday party for her on Sunday with a lot of the family, and we will have another party on the 13th. She had a great party on Sunday, She opened a few presents. Some really cute clothes from my mom, a sippy cup from Karianne and a toy from mom and dad! Then she got to dig into her cake, which she loved. She didnt get into it as much as I thought, but thats ok! Ill put up some pictures soon. I didnt get a whole lot of pictures because my camera died. I just got a lot of video. Hopefully I'll get more at her party tomorrow.
Makella gets more and more fun everyday. She likes to talk a lot. Mostly just jibberish, but she says a lot of words too. Some of the words she says are:

Wawee- water
diddy- kitty
babo- babos the dog
baba-drink
wow
bow-ball
boo- balloon
no- can either be snow, nose, or No :)
yih- eye
mou- mouth
ee- ear
moor- more

Thats all I can think of. Mostly its just jibberish though, which I love. She acts like she knows exactly what she is saying and its my fault that I dont understand. She loves to rough house with me and jon and she loves anything that could be used as a bracelet. Also, she loves books more than anything. We are just so happy with her and we just love to play with her and watch her learn and grow. Here are some cute pictures of all the games she like to play and some of her favorite things to do.
I LOVE this face...so precious!
These are my fingers!
Nothing is better than taking a ride on daddy's shoulders!
She'll read her books anywhere!
She will use anythin as her bracelet. These are her favorite.
If you put a pile of pillows on the ground, she cant resist diving on them. Its the best!
We made a tunnel and she had the best time crawling back and forth playing peekaboo.

Im So Big!!

Joseph Smith Picture

So Jon found this picture and it is supposed to a new picture they have gotten and they are 90% sure that it is Joseph smith. It was gotten from the RLDS church and a lot of research has been done on it with the LDS historians and they really believe it to be a picture of him. I thought it was really neat and wanted to share it with everyone. I found this website you can read more about it. http://josephsmithpainting.com/index.html So anyways, I just wanted to share that because I think its really cool! Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! We are sad to see christmas over, but are excited for the new year. Jon starts school again in only 2 days, makella will be 1 in february and we are just hoping to make it an even better year than last year!
Christmas this year was in washington with my family and we had a really great time. It was so fun to have my whole family there. Its a rare thing and it was really neat. There were a total of 26 people up there, babies and all. It was quite the group. We went to my parents ward christmas party and saw a movie, but mostly we just spent time at home. I got so many pictures of everyone, but here are just a few so you get the idea. Oh and for those who have not seen it yet...here is a picture of my brand new hair! Its in the morning, so it normally looks better, but oh well. :)

I got it cut and highlighted about a month ago

We celebrated matts birthday on the 23rd and as you can see all the kids were really interested in the cake!

Ben introduced us to his german pasty streusal schneiken and we had a good time making them and especially eating them.
Christmas morning....makella did pretty well opening her gifts with a little bit of help. mostly, she like the wrapping paper and bows though.

All the adorable neices...minus makella. They are all so precious and I loved seeing them all! The boys were too busy to stop and take a picture

Jonny after opening one of his gifts.

Danika and Lacy

Makella in her pretty christmas dress loving every minute of it.

This is the stocking I made for her. She did pretty good taking out all her stuff. I just love her in her christmas jammies!

Well, that was just some of the fun things about our trip. We hope that everyone had a really wonderful christmas and that we have opportunities this year to see everyone more often! Happy new year!
