Im Back!

It Has been such a long time since I posted anything! We have been pretty busy most of the summer. We had a family reunion in washington back in June. I got to stay up there for like a week before we had the reunion and then my whole family got to go! It was a lot of fun! Its was really fun to spend so much time with my whole family! and then in July we went to see my sister and Ben in California and had ssoo much fun, I wish we could have stayed longer! We were only there for about 4 days. But we spent all of those days on the beach! Jon's dad has a condo in Oceanside that is really close to the beach, so we just stayed there. Makella had so much fun on the beach and hanging out with Wendy. She still talks about it...randomly she will say.."Member....Ocean....WendyBen." Just like that. She talks about the crabs that wendy caught too. Its pretty weird that she still remembers! Sadly I didnt get very many pictures on that trip because we were too busy swimming and such, but it was super fun! Then Next week, we are going with all of Jon's family to Hawaii! Yeah...I know...Its amazing! I cant believe we actually get to go. We are so excited!

But the biggest thing we have probably done this summer was move! We have been SO grateful for Jon's parents for letting us invade their house with a crazy baby for so long, but we felt it was time to get a place of our own! So we found a little 2 bedroom apartment that is really close to UVU and we have been in it for a couple weeks now! Its so exciting. I think makella is a little upset to not be in her normal room and everything, but she is adjusting! So things are definetaly moving forward for us. My mom is coming down to see us tomorrow and Im so excited! It will be fun to have her here. (She and my dad will be watching Makella while we are in Hawaii). Since there are so many pictures of things over the summer, I will try and limit it to just the best ones! :)

Danika looks totally cool in this picture!
Beautiful Washington beach!

These are the only ones I got of California!

Help!

So, Ive been needing a new swimsuit this summer and have never really been able to find one. Ive just been really picky about it and Ive been looking online like crazy lately. I think Ive finally narrowed it downto three. Im completely indecesive though and cant seem to pick one. So I decided I would let you guys tell me which one I should get! :) Pathetic as it is that I cant pick my own swimsuit. So I would appreciate any input you might have! Even if you hate them all. They are all kinda the same style, but different colors...I didnt really do that on purpose though...so anyways! Thanks for you help!

Smart Baby!

I wanted to take a little bragging moment, if that is alright! Makella learned something new! She has learned how to count to 10! With a little help of course, but thats ok! I was amazed. We taught her to count to 3 but that is it. Then one day she all of a sudden just said 7..8..9...10. I've Never even gone over that with her. so it was weird, but we decided to teach her the rest. I actually got a video of it, which doesnt happen very often, so I decided to post it. Sorry that its a little shaky and stuff...she was moving around a lot. Its the best I could do! Im amazed at all the things she is able to learn! Oh and just ignore the huge pile of clothes on the floor, I was doing laundry! :)

President Monson!

We had a pretty cool morning yesterday! UVSC is becoming a university and in order to do so, they had to build a bigger library. So yesterday they had the dedication of the new library. President Monson was the one who was going to do the dedication prayer. I decided that I would go and watch because I have never really seen him as prophet before. So I thought it would be cool. We were in a pretty good spot and so up in the front, so it was cool to see him. THen afterwards, we were about to leave, but Jon decided we should try and get up to him. So he grabs Makella and makes we made our way through the crowd. President Monson was giving and interview and so we were right there next to him waiting til he was done. When he finished he turned around and there we were! So he shook Jon's hand and then he talked to makella. He asked her name and shook her hand and tried to give her five and was playing with her for a minute. I was actually like one or two people behind jon at this point, so I missed out on shaking his hand and I couldnt hear all that he was saying. But Ella didnt even hide on his shoulder like she normally does with strangers. It was just so cool to get to see him so close and stuff because you dont really get that chance too often. I was trying to take pictures but it just all of a sudden got so jam packed with people that I was taking pictures over people's heads and stuff. It was crazy but totally worth it! :) Here are just a couple of the better pictures.

This is when he was talking to Makella!

It was just such a great experience! He was taking as much time as he could to talk to people and shake hands that he could before they ushered him inside. You can tell he really loves all his people and everyone there was so excited to see him. It was awesome!

In other news....

My rabbit Finally had her babies on mothers day!! She had 4, but one didnt make it. So we have 3 adorable babies. They are starting to get soo cute now that their eyes are open and they have more fur. We have 3 of them and just love them to pieces! I love having little baby rabbits. They are so much fun. They are getting used to Makella yelling in their faces too! So they should be pretty nice bunnies.

A day at the Zoo!

Its been awhile since Ive posted, but nothing really has been going on . Jon is going to summer school, so its just another busy semester. But yesterday Jonny actually had a full day off...no school and no work! It was pretty exciting! So we decided to make a day of it and go to the zoo with Makella. It was so much fun! All growing up, the zoo was my favorite place ever! Whenever we would go, I remember being so excited I couldnt sleep the night before and everything. I just loved it. So it was fun to be able to take Makella. It has been a long time since I have even gone to a zoo, but we had a really good time. Ella Loved everything. She was just amazed at every animal we saw. She could name just about all of them and do all the sounds! It was really great. I didnt really like seeing how small a lot of the cages were, but it was fun to see what they had. Im really not that good at taking pictures, so I didnt get awhole lot of them. It didnt help that Makella wouldnt even look at me though. So these are just some of the ones that I got.

She had this silly little grin on her face all day!

This is her making monkey noises...ooo..ooo..ooo

Jonny said he had never seen a penguin before, so here is he with the penguins!

Eating Lunch!

Makella'a newest accomplishment is that she FINALLY is getting her top teeth. Her first top tooth just broke through a couple days ago! It has taken forever. So yay!! Oh, and this week she learned how to count to 3! She is so smart!

We loved this monkey. Its only about the size of my hand, but it was so funny and cute in a weird looking sort of way!

A Day in the Mountains!

This past weekend we had some extra time on saturday between jon's jobs and helping his dad, so we went up AF canyon and had a little picnic! It was so much fun. I love being in the mountains, its so nice to get away for even a little bit. We took a whole bunch of pictures basically of Makella, she was just so happy ( most of the time). Ill just put up some of the cuter ones though.

Very pretty river

She loves her "dip" !(chip)
For anyone who knows Makella, its pretty typical for her to just lash out her temper, so we get this just about as much as we get her smiling...sigh....
She says rock and loved to find them and throw them in the water
Also a typical thing...running to daddy!
